Frank,
Several months ago I was reading a review of flat panel monitors in a computer magazine. The premise of the article was that they were much too expensive for consumers. The author went on to state that they
were a good deal for SOME businesses. If you figure the cost/square foot/month for office real estate a $1200 monitor gets real cheap.
In the cube world of high rise office space, a foot off the back of a monitor equals a foot off the size of the cubicle equals XX number
more cubicles per floor of office space.
When compared to the cost of New York or LA high rise real estate a $1200 monitor is nothing. Now they are building the whole computer into the size of an LCD monitor. I believe many corporations will have no trouble at all justifying the expense.
