x, when was the last time a security got a rating of "avoid", you would expect that it would drop at least as much as it got up yesterday when another house hyped it ($100/share in 18 months...). As for time frame, I do not remember the details, I think that MU can force conversion of the debt anytime the stock is 130% of the conversion price for 20 out of 30 sequential trading days.

As long as MU stays above $41, I would still hold to the scenario and would not dare shorting it. These guys have an history of "arranging" the price to their benefit when they need it. With Simplot out, his 10% will have to find willing buyers as well, and as you know, willing buyers buy stocks that are going up, not down. Draw your own conclusions.
