Scott, I'm hearing pretty consistently that he telegraphed a minimal--quarter point--increase and the possibility that the one will suffice for the year. Didn't give the speech a close reading--but thought that interpretation came through fairly clearly on the evening news. Anyone hearing differently? Regards, SWAMI

I think he also indicated not all 3 rate cuts were really necessary.
