I suppose my thinking was that if these other players back away from PC DRAM market then perhaps they will not be pushing PC133, therefore RDRAM may gain more critical mass.

That's a good point. I missed that implication, but it makes a lot of sense. Especially if there's some "movement" to stay away from commodity SDRAM, then PC 133 would be the first to be dropped. So the manufacturers that are left are the guys who have expressed strong support for RDRAM. Excellent point.

Do you think we'll get more news about vendors dropping out of the PC SDRAM market and/or mergers? That would be great.
