Rascal,
There is seasonality to AOL's earnings--even AOL's 10Q mentions the slowdown after the year end xmas subscribers--but not much seasonality to the stock's price pattern. There is a pattern that occurs frequently, a runup to earnings and a selloff after earnings. Historically, if AOL splits, there was usually no post-earnings selloff. The most recent quarter obviously had a big-time selloff.
All that's history, of course. I currently read AOL as being in both a short and intermediate term downtrend, something the stock has not done for literally years. Earnings are expected to be a little light this quarter but you might still get a half-hearted upmove ahead of earnings.
Beyond that, I'm not aware of any playable patterns that repeat.
Best,
--Steve
