Ron, that was just a short visit, this thread has deteriorated since the gang from the goldigger thread transferred. If I'll post the same posts I posted there two years ago, I'll probably be lynched. It did have a suggestion that gold in the new "information age" and accelerated world growth cannot serve as a currency of last resort, since it would bring permanent inflation, by tying the world economy's
growth rate of world gold production's growth rate. The CB have recognized this finally (a good time ago, but why should they come out and tell us?) and even AG the old gold bug, "fell in line" once he became an inflation fighter.
