I have a problem with that statement. Isn't Xeon targeted toward high end servers? Aren't they trying to grow share in the space occupied by the risc chips of IBM, SUN, HP, DEC/(CPQ), etc.? (Not to be confused with the low end PII/PIII based servers).
These are big multi CPU machines. I just wonder how large this market is and how fast Intel is growing share.
