Vitas:

You never responded to the possibility that the 9 mth cycle low comes off the Sept low vs. the Oct low. Thoughts?

I read the Greenspeak testimony from today. He is into verities this time. Next it will be canards.

I cannot make the market do anything. It is running out of time. My spreadsheet says we go down starting in the next day or two. I would be happy to see it hit hard so we can have a decent base to start on.

I think we are seeing the retail trade this week along with money trying to clean up their accounts. The money gave us two strong--we are not going down--hints last Friday at 3:40 and on Monday in the first hour. This morning it looked like they might want to throw this thing down but it did not last.

Tomorrow--maybe Monday--is another chance.

I am starting to take the Y2K thing seriously. I upgraded my workstation to NT Service Pack 5 last week and found a number of nice little warnings. It takes NT--without the Service Pack--an hour or so during the first hour of 2000 to figure out what year it is. NT is on a lot of machines that do significant crunching.
