d.a.:

Can't help much as I'm running only one monitor on the 'puter that runs eSignal. I recently moved over to NT so have a lot of windows literati to go as well, plus the purchase of an Appian or Colorgrafix or ??? card. 19" monitor, but it feels cramped sometimes so may figure out how to go multiple on this machine sooner than later. Got to redesign my office and build a new trading work station first and get faster connection.

Have you considered organizing your monitors by function? Say the smallest for your brokerage and news window, another for quotes and portfolio windows and the largest for charts and a Level II window (or two). Really pretty idiosyncratic; I like charts to trade off of, so I give over more screen space to those.

Good luck and let us know how you solve these problems.

I use 2 17" monitors...I don't believe it matters if one is a different size. I had connected three monitors once just for fun and it was a 15". It worked fine...I just didn't need that much desktop.

There is definitely an advantage of having 2 monitors. I usually have SE on one and 4 browsers on the other. I have TW charts on both which are usually in the background unless I minimize the browsers...works great. Windows 98 does everything for you....you just plug in the video cards and it does the rest. Nothing to know.
