It won't matter what new way you devise. Generic monetary market dynamics are determined by human nature, not what the money is pegged to. As long as people are naive enough or too lazy to keep track of what is going on, there will be others who spend all of their time devising ways to steal it from them. Peg the money to egg plants and macaroni if you want. Those of grandiose egos and sociopathic nature will convince the majority that Austrian egg-plant/macaroni economics (it will be called macaro-egonomics)are far to complicated for the layperson to understand and will proceed to have closed-door meetings and make officious pronouncements while they use your money as a personal loan and steal it from you.
