You have to admit that the parallels to Public Noncommercial Radio are striking. At first there were the demure sentences listing the identities of corporate sponsors. Then the demure sentences listing the sponsors - and appending advertisement slogans in the same soothing prosaic tone. Now we have to sit through full-blown commercials inserted as data packages by the Free Public Noncommercial Media. And those bastards have the cadmium-plated nerve to ask for our money on a regular basis.
