I like a restaurant near the National Museum of American Art and the new MCI center (about a block and a half, opposite side of the street) called the China Palace (on 7th, and technically in Chinatown)...To refresh your memory, it is Mama Ayesha's, on Calvert Street, a little more than two blocks off of Connecticut Avenue (a right, if one is heading north on Conn.). It is fairly near the National Zoo, on the outskirts of Adams- Morgan, and the restaurant is right next to a Metrobus stand. It is on the left side of the street as one heads east on Calvert, and practically on the corner. A taxi should get you there with little trouble, especially if you can get the exact address. If you drive, be aware that parking is a bit of a problem, and go early...
