Carl: Re: "I have a couple indicators that I use to track this, but thus far I do not see any sign of a shift away from the quality stocks."

My primary indicator went bullish yesterday. It is a technical indicator called the LAM large cap crap gap (TM) <g>. LRCX surged for no reason yesterday while the rest of the large caps did nothing much. Of course, we all know now that MS was accumulatiing for their upgrade this morning. BUT the fact that this has happened and stuck above $40 indicates to me that the fat cats are looking down the quality chain for good value. So LRCX is a natural pick. It won't be long before they look at the LRCX crap peers that are down in the capitalization chain. Greed and euphoria will get the best of them. AND I note that while all the large caps are down in this sector this morning as I write, SFAM (up nicely), SVGI and UTEK are all up as I write. It makes no difference what happens the rest of the day. My story is unfolding. That is the key. I can smell it; I can taste it.
