Volume is KEY here

The recent lack of volume really defeats arguments for either the Bull or the Bear.. IMO

This is really just a trading range, with very little trading taking place!

Don

Lee: I have not turned "bullish" yet and I think several of us see the exact same thing in this week's market. However, I am nearing neutral at this point and that could be forced to bullish shortly. I would turn bullish if the real money followed the retail buyers into this rally at the end of the next decline. So far, it appears to me, that they have been content to cheer the little guy on. Now, the little guy is out there with private parts exposed.

I think today is the most important day of the week. Maybe we will be able to see what is really going on. I haven't had a good read on the intra-day activity since Monday morning due to the clutter from expiration.

I enjoy being a nobody.

Lee: None of the regular posters on this thread are "nobodies" to me. Heck, some of the folks that get bookmarked travel around from thread to thread so if one wants to follow what they have to say...you got to bookmark them.

Also, now that your putting your stuff on the web...folks do not have to bookmark you. Of course you could start stock picking during the trading day giving buy and sell calls...very good ones...and post them at random on different threads and you will become one of the most bookmarked folks on SI. That is how one guy managed....<g>

It really is about making money...all the rest is really noise!

Regards,
LG

Note that in35 minutes of US trading inthe futures, they have erased all the gains from last night and are still dropping. At the close yesterday, they tanked the futures and let the Asian and European markets bring them back up. At 8:30 they were showing up 3 at 1358 and are now trading at 1352.5. Will they bounce after the open or continue down???

LG - I was just kidding about noting I was not on the list, I could careless about people following me and with my style of trading, it is probably better they don't as I often try to be early rather than waiting for the trend to change first. My reward is conversing with you guys here and just try to contribute to maintain the give and take balance though I often feel I am getting the better part of the deal. <ggg>

Good Luck,

Lee ( Off to work)

Hi Lee

Re: "the Max Pain is 20 points down from where we are "

I have my "strike of maximum loss" for the OEX at 675 at yesterdays close. There was a big change.
