Ditch, nobody articulates the negative like you do. That was a masterpiece! The way I see it, the offense has pushed the ball down to the 2-yard line and time is running down. The previous 98 yards has been marked by horrible luck, penalties, near fumbles, devastating injuries, bad choice of plays, little boys who went home because they didn't really want to play, spectators who left early, blind referees, and fights in the stands. Two yards--or $2 million--away lies the championship. Will the team--beaten and battered--give up and walk off the field? Or will they some way, some how, gut out one more play, one more chunk of financing? In a conversation with Paul Henry after Board Debacle Friday, he sounded exhausted. He said that Robert Gordon had seen TSIG through problems and troubles that would have sunk other companies. But, he said, Gordon was absolutely tenacious! He would stick it out. "When the going gets tough, the tough get going." Apparently Guild and Hwang thought that meant go home. Gordon's not going home. Regards, Suzanne
