I live in Boston not far from NMSS(Framingham) and I learned that a few months ago the company retained an investment banker to "shop the company", at that time it was decided to wait to the 4Q-99/1Q-00. The IB felt the company would be worth 220m to 240m running in the black. So deal was put on "hold", that was until about 2 weeks ago, word got out INTC and TXN were moving to buy up VoIP co.

Because of the rush of the other big players to capture VoIP's IP and the money being paid out for these companies, NMSS will once again be forced to rethink their timing of putting the company up for bid. Now I don't know if NMSS has recontacted their IB or not, or if they will rethink their plan to wait or not. But Mark there are only two
excellent companies left in VoIP's, that BRKT and NMSS. So I don't think it really matters much it NMSS acts to put itself up for bid or not, everyone knows that NMSS will be "in play" and at the prices being paid by INTC & TXN for VoIP, NMSS could bring easy, $20 a share, so I think from $8, with or without a buyout, there may be an
easy 4 or 5 points in short order. As always do your own DD.
