Patrick: I was curious about one aspect of Wendy's response to you regarding their Intel relationship. Specifically it was stated that EDIG would be providing Intel with prototype devices, but there was no mention as to time-frames for delivery to INTC. So I took the liberty to e-mail her myself. First, my e-mail to her: Wendy: First, let me congratulate both you and EDIG for your successful shipment to Lanier as announced on June 15th. I'm sure everyone in the company is psych'ed to be underway. I have one question, and it stems from information you provided to an individual who subsequently posted in on a web-site known as Silicon Investor. You appear to have stated via a response e-mail, "e.Digital has secured an agreement with Intel Corp. wherein e.Digital will develop and deliver a number of prototype digital voice recorders which Intel will then market to Intel's OEM customers." First off, is this true? Secondly, if this is true can you speak to the time-frame by which point Intel expects to have said devices in hand? Thank you in advance for your time in this matter. I appreciate any response you can provide. Wendy's response: Thank you for writing. Yes, e.Digital has a contract with Intel to deliver a number of voice recorder prototypes to Intel this year, probably this summer. Intel is paying e.Digital for the development and delivery of these prototypes. They will then market the prototypes to OEM customers and refer any interested parties back to e.Digital for licensing and additional design and/or manufacturing services as needed. I hope this information is helpful to you. Best regards, Wendy Ravenel --------- Some of you "grizzled veterans" may have already know of this time-frame. If so, my apologies. For everyone else; FYI! John~
