This from AWI's website

In May 1998 a Vietnamese government agency called the Construction Lottery for the Capital Hanoi awarded a contract to Advanced Gaming Systems (AGS) of Canada for the installation of an on-line lottery system, equipment and services. As subcontractor to AGS for the Vietnam project, AWI will install a MasterLink® system and a pilot POS network comprising 300 Ovation® Modular terminals. The games to be offered initially will be a 6/36 lotto and a variation of a daily numbers game designed by AWI to create additional prize levels. The tentative launch date for the system is April 1999.

Assuming the pilot project is successful, the Lottery's expansion plans call for up to 7500 terminals across the country, whose population exceeds 68 million.
