Glenn,

I'm surprised that AMZN didn't skyrocket on Sotheby's news. Low-end auctions have high margins, but higher-end auctions have MONSTER margins. This is an example of AMZN utilizing its market power to enter other sectors in the retail industry to power further revenue growth, and expected future expanding margins from economies of scale and venture into more high margin businesses.

I think we are witnessing the rise of an online retail giant - a comprehensive portal for customers to conduct broad-based online transactions. Thus far, Walmart has been NATO only - No Action, Talk Only.
