That is a good strategy....if you can play the technicals well. I agree that selling at tops and buying back in at bottoms, while sticking with the stock, is a fine strategy. But I know that I am too slow to do it well, and I'm still learning to read the technicals. But I'm getting better at it.
ORCL is a core holding. It is as blue a chip as I've ever seen. I bought both ORCL and AAPL near their bottoms and I think both have room to double - AAPL more so, since it is (amazingly) trading at only a 12 PE. AAPL has confounded the Street in much the same manner as ORCL....so I feel confident they are ready to pop nicely soon, too.
