Once again all the posts of "sweet high margin" disks flying out the door are nonsense. IOM issued a warning partly due to "weak disk sales". At least the downside to Rocky's $2.75 is only $1 5/8 we will probably see that soon. IOM is a dog with fleas. I should have sold long ago.

I know what Rocky's going to say.
I'm more interested in what Bateh's going to say. Iomega says Zip and Jaz sales were disappointing in spite of virtually daily HUGE sales by Ingram, with occasional backorders up the kazoo.

Iomega warned today that Zip is in trouble too. I now 100% fully expect Iomega to report that Zip revenues year to year are DOWN for the 2nd Quarter.

This my friends, is a disaster. This means that Zip's life is going downhill. Iomega's bread and butter money-maker is past middle age and is now heading towards the retirement home. Iomega can sell 50 Million Zips a year and not make a dime on them in the end.

There is no way in hell that Flop! can make up for any declining Zip sales. Flop!'s market is much smaller than Zip's. I'm not talking about Iomaniac fantasy products (like consumer digicams with PCMCIA II slots), but real products on the shelf right now that can use Flop!
