< I've made so many mistakes that now I am scared to do anything! > Don't let fear paralyze you. You might want to step back and assess your mistakes. Did you take too big a position? Allow losses to get out of hand? Chase high flyers? Trade without a system? If nothing else, ask yourself if you've followed your rules/system? Fine tune that system or look at alternatives. Look at various TA indicators and different time frames. But if you have a real interest in trading, continue with paper trading until you've developed more confidence in your existing system or a newly developed one. Think about when you were a kid .... if you fell off a bike and got banged up you got back on and continued until you "mastered" riding a bike ... like that scenario, trading takes a lot of work and peseverence.
