Here's my concern (and I do not want QWST to purchase USW or FRO) - the SSB report said that QWST had dropped to 32.5 (which it had) and that QWST would have to be 35-36/share before the deal offered to USW/FRO would be on par with the GBLX offer. Now the stock is at 37+, so one could argue that the QWST offer is now better.

Here's a question - if USW/FRO decide today to accept the QWST offer (isn't today the day the GBLX deal is supposed to be finalized?) would the share price & ratio be locked in as of market close today, or would the final ratio be set at a later date? If the former, then there could be a feint where QWST stock runs up some only to shoot ourselves in the foot when it's announced after closing that we've bought the other two companies. If the latter, then USW/FRO won't take our offer because as soon as they do, the stock will drop into the high 20's and make the offer look worse than the GBLX offer.

Agree? Disagree?
