Another nice touch: Peter informed newbies that he "...took Nat'l SemiCon from receivership to 2 Billion dollars." The Kaminskys, from Neuberger and Berman, were still live on the panel, which didn't hurt our cause! I had dinner with one N&B's senior financial planners last weekend, and I planted a bug in is ear about Wave Systems. He said that N&B feels they don't know enough yet about the players and the technology involved in the E-Commerce arena, but they feel they are just now "grabbing the beast by the tail."
