Tad,

<Actually, I believe that the MSDW rating system is Strong Buy/Outperform/Neutral (or Hold), so it's only a one notch drop.

But that doesn't detract from your valid question about "undervalued."
If the EPS estimates are lowered to $2.25 and $2.55, that's a 13% growth rate. At $55, the P/E is 21.6x or a 50% premium to the growth rate. Undervalued seems a bit of a stretch.

Might get there, though! - Tad LaFountain>

Thanks for the correction. Too many brokerages research houses to keep track of.

Which reminds me - I am MSDW client and haven't gotten the research report yet. Ok, I no longer have a position in Intel but let me go and check.....

Chuck

re: "Might get there, though! - Tad LaFountain"

I see tremendous overhanging supply in the low twenties. If, indeed, AMD has been shipping quantities of K-7's to (a) certain OEM(s); the supply might get eaten through with some vigor.

It is gratifying to see iNTEL and AMD move in opposite directions, at least briefly, though.
