Dazid Zimmer's report on the NY Road Show lunch preempts and affirms almost anything I can say. I was happy to see some portfolio manger and analyst friends who said they recently lightened up, only to now replace those shares with this secondary. I think the shorts intend to do this too, only hope it is so oversold as to preclude their ability to cover it all without going into the open market. I am just as bullish as David long term, but am still disappointed at the time for events to take place in the short-term. I had the impression, based on a guess rather than fact that the first portal announcement (and simultaneous start-up) is still about two months away. On the other hand, I was glad to learn that Transpoint is not even a factor in potentially offering ebilling and presentment to the portals. I wouldn't be surprised if they price the secondary tonite, but this is speculation on my part. The demo film featured a young girl (about 7-years old) coaching her all-thumbs and tech-stupid dad to use the net and pay bills. It is very cute and one can even forgive her for slipping in an order for beanie babies on ebay without permission, he was so excited, he hardly noticed. Pete said that they have planned a great presentation by a customer at our NYC meeting on Friday, August 27. He said we would all be very pleased with this and of course other aspects of our "gala."
