Kelly K-Yes, perhaps my ratio of shares to leaps is too high. Do you like 1/00 or 1/01.

Given my expectations for the share price level over time, I find that those contracts furthest away in time and most out of the money yield the greatest after tax ROI (currently Jan 2002 150).

Shorter term contracts may yield greater after tax rates of return, but for correspondingly shorter time periods.

Yeilding to my personal comfort level, I hold about 2/3 of my Q! position in out of the money,long term options (2000, 2001, and 2002 with progressively more at the longer terms). The balance is in fully leveraged shares, which let me sleep at night. <g>
