I'm not sure that I understand your question. I can tell you that as of
the
end of 1998 there was approximately $86,182.6 million invested in funds
using the Russell 3000 Index as a model. This number is based on our index
license subscribers. I cannot tell you how many portfolios are out there
that are based on the Russell 3000 Index, it isn't something we can track.
I also cannot tell you how many people take the membership list for the
Russell 3000 Index and invest in some of the companies within the list -
again this isn't something we can track.
