U S WEST INC. (DEL.) Qwest Communications Offers to Acquire U S West


June 17, 1999, U S WEST Inc. (NYSE:USW - news) reported that Qwest Communications International Inc. (Nasdaq:QWST - news) offered to acquire all of the outstanding USW common stock.

QWST stated that it will exchange 1.738 shares of its common stock for each share of USW common stock.

Frontier decided not to act on qwst's offer. Which means they did not offer a rejection (acting on the offer). IMO frontier is still considering the offer by qwst.
