1 penny a minute. i guess if they go free (we will meet or beat any offer), they can always make up the difference on volume:-) then they could be a real internet company, no chance of a profit but they expect to grow.

H60, I agree entirely. .01/minute on weekends and .039/minute on weekdays domestic long distance will bring in literally millions of new customers. From what I hear the great majority of NTOP minutes are phone to phone routed over the Internet and the quality is very close to regular phone quality for US long distance.

Do you have any thoughts on when these rates will be announced? It would be great if they announced it in conjunction with AOL, for example. When then do, I will be one of the first to sign up. As you say these would be the lowest rates available anywhere. I would hope they would spring for a couple of TV commercials to get the word out.
