Could we talk more about "You've got money!" To me this possibility from Genesis was the most exciting thing about the conference call. I would like us to find out more about how this would work and how it would compare to the other offerings from .com companies (CYCH etc.). The idea of Checkfree providing the individual internet consumer or small business the service of paying / collecting money directly from another consumer is very compelling. Could Checkfree do this relatively soon? Could the payment be instantaneous? This would put Checkfree in a very prominent position in a very large and important market. It would seem that Checkfree could charge much less than typical credit card commissions and still be very profitable if the Genesis engine could do this. Please help me with understanding what could be possible for Checkfree in this area and a potential time frame for this to develop.

Dave and Ron,
Thanks for your great posts from the show. These first hand reports are very important to the rest of us.

I assume you were referring to eBill 3 software. Was it mentioned where this software resides: on the server and accessed by the customer from the browser or needs to be installed on the customer's computer?
Sounds like it works great. It's unfortune that CF ran out of time during CC and couldn't demonstrate the software to the analysts.

Re: shorts. It looks like we don't have to many shorts in this stock or they a very bold bunch.<G> When the market hit a temporary bottom on May 26, at 10:30AM or so most of the stocks started rising sharply and kept running till the end of the day on a good volume. CKFR too had a pop, rather small one and on very light volume. After that CKFR was one of a very few stocks that continued sliding down up until the last 1/2 hour when it rose measly $1 from the bottom.
