Rande,

Been lurking for a while after TJ lead me here, this is my favorite thread. I am currently considering a trade long BRCM short EBAY using options. My thinking is BRCM is the next CISCO, great business, even better management, and can only go higher if broader market holds.

EBAY on the other hand is facing more and more competition from Amazon and Yahoo, and likely will have to lower commissions. Fundamentally, EBAY is more overvalued as well.

I like these market neutral trades, but they can be very risky.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you for the hard work, good analysis and great thread.

P.S. As soon as I saw you bought DCLK I covered my short the next day. Wish I had gone long.
