What are you thinking a PC vs. Mac thing?

When Steve Jobs tours the country on speaking engagements, you never see him with a Mac Powerbook. He uses an IBM Thinkpad. (Muc to the dismay of Apple stockholders who think he should use the companies products.

His NeXT operating system which has become the core of Mac OSX was initially designed to run on Intel X86 architecture. Most applications of NeXT are currently on Pentiums.

This is a guy who keeps an open mind and takes advantage of what is available.

Emotionally charged, but flexible to accept "other" options. I guess that is why the "Think Different" campaign has worked so well for APPL.

There is talk that the Mac might even leave the PowerPC architecture altogether and port on to Intel's Merced. But that's currently just rumor.
