Williams Controls, Inc. manufactures vehicle components, develops and produces sensors, microcircuits and other electronic
products, manufactures plastic components for the automotive industry and develops GPS systems. For the six months ended
3/31/99, sales rose 12% to $31.6 million. Net income from continuing operations applicable to Common fell 2% to $2.2 million.
Results reflect higher vehicle component segment unit sales, offset by new product development expenses.
