QCOM ... it's called breakout. Tech stock traders/investors should keep abreast of developing events for techs at key junctures. Recently there was a study out saying that celluar and wireless business would grow a couple of orders of magnitude into 2003. Precisely the reason why VTSS broke out, they make the chips after all. When the fears of interest rate hikes subsided after Greenspan spoke, market focused on growth and earnings again. T'was a market call. Short-covering is a simplistic reason.

Posting a running commentary on stocks at SI is not on my priority list. People need to do their own research.
