I think Peter was trying to sell CPQ on the fact that if they include WAVX's "digital cash register" in their boxes that their customers will continue to "pay" CPQ for content through their boxes instead of just the liability of warrantee work and customer support. Of course customers are not fully liabilities in that they can be sold upgrades and newer systems but this new "model" affords them a more secure(?) revenue stream. I think Peter was uncomfortable using the term "liability" but it sure got everyone's attention and his point was made. JF
