Rande, why'd you sell CHRZ? Seems like a real bargain here at 11 PE, great earnings, right? Just because it dipped? or anotehr reason. Also WCOM. It's been recommenmded to me. No? Why? Thanks.

PS check out BEBE. Should keep gapping up for awhile from low bottom.

Remember this post about Friday's trades??
[posted well before closing bell]

Take a look below at the movement of this group since those buys. Also our positions: ATHM, DCLK and TERN outperformed most internets/set-top box makers.

Here is post from Friday:

We kicked some butt on TERN. . . .ATHM and DCLK still looking great. . . ATHM buy was terrific just before split.

Sold ADAP, CPQ, CHRZ, IOM, WCOM, WSTL

Bought ATHM, CNET, TUNE, GIC, TERN, MIPS, SGI,

Still watching HRBC, BRCM, QCOM, GNET, SEEK, INKT, EXDS, NXTL, etc.etc. . .

Couldn't trade fast enough. . .

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

ATHM at 60. . . .+19 post-split 2-for-1 or +38 pre-split since our buy at 82 pre-split two weeks ago.

DCLK at 97 5/8. . . +28 5/8 since our buy two-weeks ago at 69

TERN at 50 1/8. . . +10 since our buy two-weeks ago at 40 1/8

Set-top box makers have been down this morning. . . TERN now 48 3/4, GIC 41 3/4 and the set-top box chip designer MIPS is falling in sympathy [it also moves in sympathy to chip makers]. . . I am holding all three, since my intent is to BUILD a position in these three. . .so if they fall considerably [I doubt it], I will re-load. . . these are long-termers for me. . . selling volume is not nearly what buying volume was.

This past Friday's Buys: [Seven-out-of-seven winners]

ATHM + 6 from 53 3/8
TERN + 4 from from 46
TUNE + 3 1/2 from 25 1/4
MIPS + 4 [was up nearly 6 yesterday]
GIC + 1 [was up 2 earlier today]
SGI + 1/2 from 13 9/16
CNET + 3 1/2 from 50

Friday's sells: [change since sell]
ADAP + 1
CPQ + 3/8
CHRZ - 1
IOM + 3/16
WCOM + 1 1/2
WSTL - 1/4

There are many many stocks out there. . . and loads of internets that are moving. . . I am only interested in those that are solid performers mostly under accumulation by fund managers [to provide support and liquidity]. . . .have a solid broadband strategy . . . and have potential to yield higher percentage gains than some of the more popular internets. . . with less risk.

I think we will see an overnight sell-off of Inets soon. . .but overall, the week should end higher for the group. I think that set-top boxes are being "played" lower for purposes of accumulation.
