Don't worry, I've been through the school of hard knocks in this sector. I just thought it was a little incongruous to see someone predicting blowout revenue increases, and only a modest increase in stock price to show for it. Heck, his price target is not even up to 1997's peak, when revenues were only 19% higher. And the S&P 500 valuation is a lot higher now.

On the other hand, if we go into another slump, neither his revenue forecast nor his stock price forecast will be worth the paper it's written on. <g>

Incidentally, the article doesn't say whether he's talking about annual revenues or quarterly revenues. With the last four quarters' revenues already adding up to $862 million, and $211 million already in the first quarter of this calendar year, it hard to see how his forecast of $500 million this year, and $800 million next year fit in, unless he's talking quarterly, but that would imply nearly a quadrupling of revenues, which would be optimistic, to put it mildly. In fact, if the company quadruples revenues next year, I think it's safe to say I'll be writing my posts from a real nice yacht by then! <g>

FY98 Q4 $253 million
FY99 Q1 $205 million
FY99 Q2 $193 million
FY99 Q3 $211 million

FY97 $1.03 billion
