Hello Tony. I will dig up the article from the WSJ. I will summarize it. You know this copy law stuff.

There is one interesting thing that was NOT in this article, I think. Around 3:40 one of those TV guys, I think M. Tyler, said that he talked to Intel about 20 min. ago and Intel said that NOT ALL their coppermine products will be delayed. They evidently mentioned that they will come out with some of the desktop variety, but at a slower speed, and the high end will be delivered. I am sure there should be an article on Yahoo or somewhere by this time. Funny that we heard so late.

I will go and check now; so stay tuned.

Sonny

Tony. OK. Here it goes per todays WSJ summarized.
Intel Corp. has said that it delayed by 2 months their coppermine chip 0.18 mu. They said it will not affect their earnings because they will speed up a diff. chip. The chip is the 600 MHZ PIII with the 0.25 mu manufact. process.

The article mentioned that CS First Boston downgraded their 99 est. to 2.25 and cut estimates of 2000 earnings to 2.55.

Sonny

P.S. I don't know for sure that this will guarantee their earnings. It's just that this delay will not affect their earnings.
