LONDON, June 21 (Reuters) - Discount brokerage Charles Schwab Corp <SCH.N> plans to open up to six new share shops in Britain, according to the Independent newspaper.

In an unsourced report, the paper said Schwab was understood to be looking at new branches in Bristol, Nottingham and Leicester, as well as three new locations in London.

Schwab already had premises in London and Birmingham, the Independent said.
