Nice piece of pessimistic journalism. The reason that MSU has not filed a patent on its product is that it would have divulge its logarithmic formula. If this gets divulged then copycats can manufacture competing versions of it. No one is required to file a patent as a condition of being legitimate. As to MSU's missed revenue projections, they were not the first nor will they be the last to do that. What is different this time around versus 1996? MSU has non engineers managing the company. Engineers, God bless them, "they can figure out the parts of the sum, but they can't figure out the sum of the parts." Last point...if you believe everything you read then you won't know what to believe. Have a good weekend. 3D
