From the another Intel thread, a mention of a WSJ article in which Intel said, well, read it below:

Tony. OK. Here it goes per todays WSJ summarized.
Intel Corp. has said that it delayed by 2 months their coppermine
chip 0.18 mu. They said it will not affect their earnings because
they will speed up a diff. chip. The chip is the 600 MHZ PIII with
the 0.25 mu manufact. process.

The standard Intel response is to keep their mouth shut and go about their business of designing, developing, manufacturing and the sale of advanced processors and support circuitry.
