This would compare with the results from the
200 ton sample:
6 + 8 + 10 = 24 carats/200 = .12 carats/ton of largest stones
versus
6 x 11 carats + 80 x 3 carats = 306 carats/3,000 = .102 carats/ton

Assuming that is what they have.

Red,
Last time around about 30% of the total weight exceeded 1 carat in size.....what you published indicates about 15% of the total weight exceeds one carat in size.....assuming the grade of 1.6 carats per tonne you report is a correct rumor......that amount of variation doesn't add up in my books, so IMO, I would discount the rumor until we hear some official news......
