Just my observations....FWIW

I went to the Sprint store today looking for either the Thinphone or the Nokia 6185. They didnt have the Thinphone yet, and they were sold out of the 6185. The salesperson said they had gotten 20 two days ago but had sold out quickly. He expected more by Tuesday and also said that there would be a rebate of $50 off of the list price of $179. He didnt expect the Thinphone until July or August (I never really believe these dates).

Now I'm sort of in a dillema...I'd like to buy the Thinphone (I like the phone as well as just general loyalty) but if the 6185 is on sale for $129, that is a pretty damn good price.

Was in Sprint store in Dallas this afternoon. The sales guy badmouthed Qualcomm; touted the StarTac as the best phone they have. He badmouthed the Thin Phone as a "piece of trash" and then confessed he didn't know what it was and that the store doesn't carry it.

Slacker, how dare you buy anything other than a Qualcomm phone, you slacker!
