So, Christopher, are you really saying that if the legislature can be influenced by the majority religious group to require their tenets to be posted in all public school classrooms on a big sign behind the teacher and exclude those of other sects (regardless of what the teacher's religious views are, or those of the students in any given class) that is just fine with you? You won't join me in trying to get equal time on the public school wall for the other childrens' religious views on the wall behind the teacher?

Or alternatively in urging that nobody post their religious propaganda up on the wall behind the public school teacher?

As far as you're concerned, should whoever can get a majority vote in the legislature really get to promulgate their religion to all the children in the public school?

<< I might even support your efforts -- after all, the kids need something to throw spitballs at! <bg> >>

Presumably you wouldn't be bothered then by the student that chooses to throw spitballs at your 10 commandments then.

Obviously you know little of the underlying philosophical foundation of this country! What you support is treason to the Constitution. You cannot legislate rights. This kind of "thinking" is despoiling the nation.
