Hiya Kurt... Nope, didn't make it to either of those, but I'm telling you...I want to go back to Germany sometime and spend the whole 10 days there. Seriously! We spent the day in Berchtesgaden (BEAUTIFUL, even in the rain!!) and a night in Garmisch. Garmisch was wonderful. Woke up to cowbells in the alley the next morning, and we were in the city! In Garmish was the only "quaint inn" (Clausings Posthotel) that we stayed in with a "band" (read: 1 guy with a keyboard) and dancing in the bar at night. It was our best night in Europe. The "locals" were great, and the owners offered some of us a job. I decided to turn it down till I got it translated! <g> There's nothing like the good ole USA though, and methinks my next adventure should be within the confines of it! I'm thinking the western part, whadayathink? <g> E!
