Perhaps Trovan trouble will attract some interest
to Magainin, although not likely until after FDA
approval, if/when that comes. I should think the
sort of person who holds Pfizer is not the same
as the sort of investor drawn to this sort of stock
--and few people owned Pfizer just for Trovan, probably.

I have heard that some Mutual Fund managers are not
allowed to own stocks which trade below $5--and that
one cannot buy on margin stocks which trade below $5.
I've not tried to confirm that, but it could mean that
there are bargains to be found down here. I hope so--but
I am willing to admit there are also a lot of junky
stocks down here--especially in other sectors of
the market other than biotech. I used to follow
some penny gold mining stocks, not anymore.

If you don't already have the abstracts, I think
these are the correct urls to print them out.
I do not think there is anything we have not already
heard. I agree that Monday could provide a signal--so
long as MAGN does not show up on any of the daytrader
threads here on SI. In that case upward moves
can often be contrary signals--spam and slam.
