OT Sandisk stuff.

I have a SCSI compactflash reader I don't remember the cost, but I think it was around $200. It works just like any other hard drive on my SCSI chain. I was happy with this until I purchased a laptop with a PCMCIA slot. Now I just slip the CF card into a PCMCIA adapter, provided for free by Sandisk with the purchase of CF, stuff it in the laptop and it mounts as a hard disk. Very convenient and mobile. I have a Nikon coolpix 900 and a 40M CF card. The 40M will hold 72 hi-resolution images. Works great. I have experience with the Sony cameras that use floppy disks. Good cameras, bad media. If you're looking to purchase a digital camera I would highly recommend buying one that uses CF.
