For better or for worse, Datek and Silicon Investor are going to linked in the future.

I don't think it is mere coincidence that recently Paul Allen (ex founder of Microsoft) bought large stakes in Go2Net (owns SI) and Datek. He's been trying to build out a complete financial portal for his broadband cable systems. Don't blame SI management, they probably didn't even have a choice in the matter.
