DATEK...on the other hand...here's an excerpt from another thread (Befriend the Trend):
"I am very happy with Datek's speed of execution. And very often they get a better fill than either what the market wants, or what I have asked for. Most of my trades fill within 10 secs. Sometimes confirmation is a little slow in coming, but I am rarely disappointed with what actually transpired.

There are some glitches with Datek. It can be hard to log on in the first 1/2 hour of trading. And sometimes their volume quotes and last price are way off (bid/ask always accurate, though). But with their new "streamer" feature, they are unbeatable among the discounters."

I have nothing to base an opinion on because I am still waiting for my funds to transfer to Datek. You fellas are certainly raising my concerns. Sounds like experiences vary. Perhaps the online broker concept is itself just a work in progress. I haven't heard unanimously high praise for any of them.
